Our group of travelling seniors plays here three or four times a year, most recently 10-8-13. Paid $27 Senior rate, which is reasonable for the area. Course is not in the Tee Time Book.
Layout is straightforward, with no tricks. Front nine is flat, and back has a few hills to add some character. Some water, but only three holes require a significant carry. Greens are medium sized, mostly flat, with only a few contoured (notably #2, a par 3). A fair number of bunkers scattered about, most well-placed, and they do affect shot selection. Fairways are generally wide and receptive, no moguls, no railroad ties, no hidden pitfalls.
Conditions today were excellent for this late in the year. Fairways were well grassed: greeens were a bit bumpy, putted medium fast, and held incoming shots well. Bunkers were filled with water from last evening's very heavy rain but the rest of the course was completely drained.
Clubhouse is small, but adequate, and the pro shop has a decent stock of logo'd merchandise. Course gets a lot of outings, and always puts on a good meal afterward (usually steak!).
This is a nice "neighborhood" type course, with no pretensions to grandeur. We recommend.
